Melissa is an experienced and capable De-cluttering Master. I am an Interior Designer, and she was able to teach me things that I’ve never thought of before. Melissa’s organisational skills, but more importantly, her compassion are second to none and I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone.

What does a housekeeping service include?
Housekeeping services can include one-off services or regular domestic tasks (daily, weekly, or fortnightly), from cleaning and cooking to even home maintenance. Your housekeeper will bring along all the products and equipment they need to clean and maintain your home - all you need to do is tell them what you need done. Here’s how they can help:
Cleaning
The most common housekeeping service involves cleaning. This could include general cleaning, like vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroom cleaning. Or it might include detail cleaning tasks like couch, curtain, floor, fridge, and rug cleaning. Depending on the number of tasks you’d like your housekeeper to complete, they may clean for just an hour, or up to the entire day. Your housekeeper will discuss a time that’s convenient for you, the tasks you need done, and the timeframe it should take to complete these tasks. If needed, they can bring their own cleaning supplies, like a vacuum cleaner and feather duster.
Organising and tidying
Many housekeepers offer professional organising services, where they help organise and tidy all areas of your home. This includes desks, filing cabinets, stationery, linen, wardrobes, toys, kitchen cupboards, garage interiors, and more. They’ll pull out all the items, organise them by category, and help you choose what you should keep, donate, or bin. They’ll also help by recommending suitable storage solutions to help you keep your home tidy for longer.
Cooking
Some housekeepers are available to help with cooking in your home. They might prepare a few snacks, or help prep several meals ahead of time so you don’t have to worry about cooking. Your housekeeper will present menu and recipe options for you to choose from and use your ingredient and kitchen supplies to cook everything in your kitchen. Once they’re done, they’ll store the freshly cooked food (with heating instructions) and clean up any mess.
Laundry
Washing and ironing starting to pile up? Housekeepers can help by putting on loads of washing, hanging clothes, loading the dryer, folding washing, ironing, and even putting it away. They’ll check the care labels to ensure appropriate washing/drying methods are used before they start the process. With some extra help, you’ll be all caught up on the laundry in no time.
Home maintenance
Many housekeepers are skilled in basic household maintenance tasks. But if they’re unable to do the job themselves, they’ll help organise and oversee skilled contractors who can help do repairs and maintenance in and around your home.

We are a family who work with two young kids. We have a great cleaner fortnightly but seeking a “housekeeper” on the other week to help with larger scale cleaning/organizing jobs - varying types. Here is a (not complete) list of things this person would help with: Cleaning organising kitchen cupboards Cleaning second drawer Organizing shelves/toys Drop stuff to salvos Move small furniture/pc Fold kids clothes and put away Small home decorating tasks (kids room decorations) Re-organise linen shelves Take photos of things for eBay sale Clean inside of the car Essentially, organizing stuff but not basic cleaning tasks. I would like this person on either Mondays or Fridays as I WFH those days and will be actively supporting and giving guidance, getting you started basically. I will pay $40 per hour and ideally 4 hrs per fortnight. Or if it works for us both, more sessions at the beginning to get through it faster.

Evelin is learning English and I found her partial-English very good. She also helped me with my Spanish! I would hire her again and I absolutely recommend her.
‘Emergency’ tidying and organising one off
$5
Fitzroy VIC 3065, Australia
13th May 2024
Hi Aisha, I have ADHD, three children, and lots of ‘projects’. All of this has been manageable until the past three weeks. An unplanned major plumbing issue (outside) meant that I spent a few weeks managing a huge emergency dig up of our courtyard space, then repaving, cleaning etc. and THEN it has had to be all dug up again. During this time regular tasks piled up, things were placed wherever they could be, and clean clothes became a floordrobe from hell. I have also had four debilitating migraines during ten days (currently in bed with one) which has not happened before either! Usually one and I lose two days max. The situation now is that one room is covered in (clean) pieces of fabric and clothing that form the basis of the sewing projects I was starting before the plumbing disaster. The tool cupboard, recently organised and labeled clearly by me, has been raided and shoved back too many times so it’s chaos and there are tools and bits and bobs all over the house. There are piles of objects I was fixing or grouping for sale and donation, as well as empty bags and tubs. I keep ‘shoving’ it in cupboards and closing the door and then need to pull it all out to get the ‘one’ thing someone needs in a hurry! It’s all clean, and I don’t have hoarding issues, in fact I’m very keen to get rid of things and organise everything into its logical place, BUT it’s now so tangled together that without extra person-power and uninterrupted hours (my kids are 3,5, and 11 and each need the usual shopping, cooking, care, attention, clean clothes and school pickups etc as a minimum) that I need help! I’ve lost ten days of life to migraine and am barely scraping through. So I really want to hire someone/two people to come in and simply group like-with-like, rehang or fold my own clothing, and give me a head start! I have lots of tubs and those big ikea bags that we can mark with masking tape ( ‘boots’, ‘kid art’ etc) for me to go through and find logical homes for later or in a separate piece of work, but for now, it’s just to please ‘tidy, group, and fold/hang’. Is this something you’ve did me before? It looks like my house has been ransacked because it has! Repeatedly! And it’s gotten away from me. My husband works from home and is desperate for tidy but has no hours to commit to it between work and care of our three kids while I’m sick. It’s a lovely house, and under normal circumstances I have had it showroom ready for Airbnb guests even, but it currently looks like an explosion of stuff and it’s overwhelming me. I can’t even get a cleaner to come in right now because everything needs to be picked up off the floor but if I do that and throw it all on a bed, it will be back to tangled right away. Hope to hear from you soon! Sorry this sounds confused I’m really in a lot of head pain. I have only put two pictures up because that’s all I can see from my bed and I can’t get out of it right now. But I will send more later if you can give me an indication of what is possible. Thanks in advance, Sarah
Amy is a star! Don’t think twice, book Amy! She came right away, and she was extremely kind, intelligent, efficient, and able to see what needed doing when I could barely talk. I had a huge mess, three kids, and a migraine that had lasted a week. Amy came in, got right to it in a calm and organised way, happy to work for as long as I needed to get things right again. Clever and capable, I would trust Amy with any variety of more important tasks.

Help me organise my storage
$90
Port Melbourne VIC, Australia
16th Apr 2024
I've had some boxes in a storage cage for a few months now and I'm moving them into a taxibox. I need someone to help me sort through the boxes; donate, trash, and repack them. There are only 3 moderately heavy boxes with books and the rest are lightweight. I could do it all myself but the boxes have been sitting on the ground floor and I've seen cockroaches nearby and I'm terrified of them so 80% of your role will be bug control. Relatively light work, I don't expect it to take more than 2-3 hours working at a leisurely pace.
Great service Would use again
