I am converting our garage into a home office for my work with the International Anti-Slavery Commission working against human trafficking and modern slavery, and need an assistant. This is an IN PERSON position (not remote, sorry) for an experienced person with a background in office work/computing/emails/public service in what will be the new home office in our home in Bargara. I have literally just moved in, so the office isn't even set up yet - but it soon will be. I need help in just about every aspect of my work, such as: 1. All administrative tasks, such as answering emails 2. Sending pre-formatted letters to government departments and corporations around the world 3. Assistance with fundraising and promotional events 4. Assistance developing and promoting our anti-slavery & anti-human trafficking education programs 5. Attracting and inspiring volunteers 6. Bringing new ideas to help educate the public about human trafficking and modern slavery, and especially checking for green barcodes when we shop (e.g. 40% of all tinned seafood is fished by slaves). It's horrific. 50 million slaves are making the very clothes you and I are wearing right now, the computer I'm typing this on, and the minerals to develop it.
