Weld my car seat joint

$50

Rothesay Bay Auckland, New Zealand

21st Dec 2022

A joint in my car seat has snapped somehow… Need someone to weld the joint back together. Would need to have own equipment and have somewhat experience in this field of work. Needs to be done anytime before now and 23rd! I have the seat in the boot of my car, so can drive to someone with the equipment. It’s not the easiest to access, would prefer not to take the seat apart if possible! Cheers - Due date: Before Friday, 23 December 2022

The uses of car welding include the repair of electrical and wiring issues, cracks, rust, dents, and other vehicle damage.

What do car welding services include?

Vehicle frame welding is a common solution for severe dents and warped parts caused by a collision. A car mechanic will cut out the damaged surface and weld new pieces into your vehicle frame. Frame welding usually involves thicker metal parts, and stick welding car panels is the most common method for this type of repair. By hiring one of our highly skilled car mechanics, you can be sure the job will be done correctly.

Wheel Welding

Wheel welding is a service you might need to repair cracks on your wheels. Deep potholes are the usual culprit for cracked metal wheels. These cracks can cause quick tire air loss, which can be a huge inconvenience for a driver. A welding expert is likely to use a TIG welder to repair cracked wheels, which are usually made from aluminium.

Wing Welding

Wing welding is a welding service involving the repair of rips or tears caused by a collision. A MIG welder is a suitable tool for replacing damaged car panels.

Rust Repair

Rust repair is the process of restoring car surfaces damaged by rust. A welding expert can easily remove and replace rusty surfaces, which weaken a car’s panelling.

Typically, there are two ways to repair rust on car body panels: cutting out the damaged section and welding in a patch panel or replacing the entire panel.

Car repair shops usually opt for the latter method since it requires less time and labour than repairing the rust. However, a full panel replacement will cost more money. For minor damages, repairing the rust and welding in a patch panel is a more cost-efficient option. You can save money by hiring a skilled welder who can repair rust on body panels for you.
