The other… I have no idea what is wrong with it, the device seems to be having issues maybe connecting to the internet? My PC connects to the wifi with a strong but unstable connection. I’ll get ~100 Mbps download but also get ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED errors in Chrome and issues accessing programs like Steam (error code -105 and -21). It works fine when connected directly to the router via an ethernet cable and powerline adapter, but the speed I’m getting from the powerline adapter is much slower (around 20 Mbps download). I have a Google Nest router and 2 wifi points, and a Netgear powerline adapter. I’ve tried connecting to the wifi using my PC’s wifi card, then also tried disabling it and using a USB wifi adapter and experiencing the same issues. My PC also experiences this issue while connected to my phone’s hotspot. No other device experiences this issue while connected on wifi, including phones and laptops, and my partner’s PC that uses a USB wifi adapter. Troubleshooting I’ve tried: - restarting modem and router - uninstalling and reinstalling drivers - setting network adapter to prefer 5 Ghz and disable 2.4 Ghz bands - attaching wifi card antenna - moving wifi point to be physically on top of PC - changing from obtain DNS automatically to Google DNS (https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/err_network_changed/) - resetting network stack - uninstalling VPN - going into Safe Mode with Networking (the wifi card showed an error in device manager and I could not connect to wifi at all) - trying other browsers - Firefox does not get this error, Edge and Chrome do I have not yet physically taken out the wifi card, mainly because my troubleshooting seems to imply it’s a software or registry setting (since ALL wireless connections are having issues). I would also like to avoid a Windows reset if possible. My goal here is to be able to connect to the internet via my wifi card with a stable connection. The powerline adapter is not ideal as it is a slower connection and also hogs powerpoints. - Due date: Flexible

Just purchased new wireless printer and need to hook our phones up to it.

Looking to upgrade GPU (anything in the 3080 class), and add a new 500Gb (or 1Tb) SSD. May need a new motherboard (Z170A KRAIT GAMING (MS-7984) if current will bottleneck 3080. Also possibly looking to upgrade CPU (current i7 6700K). Rest of PC stats provided in photos (CPU-Z). Ultimately would like to run Microsoft Flight Simulator at higher settings. (price reduced to allow offers).

Our WiFi is all over the shop. Can sit steady for days then starts dropping out. A family member installed a repeated to extend the coverage in the house. It's working intermittently without the repeater. Also emails sent take an age to come through. Our wireless printer is hit & miss.
