Trying to connect nbn to foxtel modem connection drops out

The property has an NBN (FTTC) connection but the point is the old style phone jack (cream coloured plug - photo attached), that requires an adapter for use. Ideally we would like to replace the adaptor to a newer style point. At the same time if it could be relocated in the lounge as it's currently in a bedroom which is inefficient.

When the last tenant moved out, they broke the HFC plug, it spins freely in the wall point, just need someone to install a new wall point, and re-terminate it correctly.

Hi! I’ve received the new NBN box for the rental I’ve just moved into and need some assistance.. I tried setting it up myself but, I can’t get the coaxial cord out of where I thought the connection may go.. So, I need this removed and help figuring out where the connection actually goes.
