Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced carpenter, set builder, or van fitout specialist to build a custom lightweight shell that looks like a small baby grand piano. This is for a king single-sized space in my van — so it needs to be compact, light, and strong (easy to move and transport). I’m aiming for a stage-style appearance (curved baby grand lid), but it doesn’t have to be full size — just the look and feel of a real baby grand. Key Points: • Lightweight materials (marine ply or similar preferred) • Stable and strong frame (maybe light steel or timber) • Gloss black or white finish (can discuss) • Easy to assemble/move (folding lid or two-part build preferred) • Space underneath for my keyboard (standard 88-key digital piano) • Airflow gaps if needed for speakers Budget: Negotiable — happy to pay for quality. Timing: Ideally within 2–4 weeks. Location: Based in [your town/city] but can travel within reason for the right person. Kitchen Work Pick up, cut and install new bench top. Remove existing and dispose. Install new under bench carcass for new electric oven, install cooktop and oven into new laminate benchtop (standard 60cm units). Rangehood install Make space for a dishwasher Plumbing and electrical handled separately 3. Linen cupboard selves replaced (cabinet maker to supply materials).
