**Re. budget - I have little idea what a PT should cost so please disregard the $10 budget I entered (I had to complete the field). So if based on this description you feel working with me might be possible, please feel free to include a general range in your response and perhaps we can discuss?** I'm looking for an affordable personal trainer to work with once a week. I'm a 44-year-old father of 2 young kids. My lifestyle to this point has been... ummm... self-indulgent?! My goal is to establish an exercise routine that will help me lose weight but (secondary) also build some muscle/tone. I'm new to PT and have never been enthusiastic about gyms or even organised exercise really, so looking for advice and support with a routine that's realistic and achievable - definitely not a quick fix or sessions that will leave me shattered (my kids do that already). My more recent primary form of exercise has been bike riding - more so as a form of transport (i.e. 20-40km riding to/from work) than as a cyclist. Long before that I used to enjoy swimming... worth noting that I'm definitely not a runner. Ideally I could find someone available at around 7am on a Saturday or Sunday, somewhere around the St Kilda end of Albert Park Lake. But if you can help, can discuss (I work from home - at a desk - Monday to Friday, 9-5pm in Windsor VIC).

I’m looking for a long-term personal trainer who can come to my home three times a week for quick, effective circuit training sessions. I’ve got a spacious terrace with a great setup (plus a friendly dog who might join us for some motivation!). I already have dumbbells, a treadmill, resistance bands, and other basic equipment—so all you need to do is show up. Ideally, I’d like to keep each session around 30–45 minutes.
