Job Overview I’m looking for an experienced bricklayer to install a new paved verge driveway measuring approximately 4 m wide × 5 m long. The base has been prepped but will require final leveling and compaction. I will provide bricks. You will supply all materials and labor to complete a durable, attractive brick surface suitable for vehicle access. Scope of Work Site prep & base leveling Fine‑grade and compact existing sub‑base. Supply and lay 50 mm–75 mm crushed limestone or roadbase if needed. Edge restraints & screeding Supply and install concrete edge restraints or heavy‑duty plastic profiles. Lay a 30 mm–40 mm sand screed for brick bedding. Brick laying Supply high‑quality driveway pavers (e.g. clay or concrete brick, selected colour). Lay bricks in stretcher bond, herringbone, or other pattern as agreed. Cut and finish edges cleanly at borders. Jointing & compaction Brush kiln‑dried sand into joints. Compact with plate compactor for a flat, interlocked finish. Clean‑up & handover Sweep site, remove waste, and leave area ready for immediate use. Requirements Proven track record laying driveway pavers or brick paving Own tools and equipment (compactor, wet saw, screed rails, etc.) Ability to supply all materials (pavers, sand, edge restraints) Strong attention to detail and reliable communication Site Details Location: [subiaco], Perth WA Access: Driveway verge adjacent to kerb—easy driveway access for trucks Size: Approximately 4 m (width) × 5 m (length) How to Apply Provide a fixed quote, inclusive of materials, labor, and cleanup. Need approx 90m2 of paving done - re laying existing pavers and adding some new sections. I am in the process of pulling up existing pavers and reconfiguring my front and back yards. I need someone to re-lay areas that have become unbalanced, plus add to new areas. I have drawn a map of the 90-100m2 area that needs to be paved. Before you start the job, I will pull up all the existing bricks and stack them for you. I will also make sure there are enough bricks on site. Any sand, pave lock and leveling work will be for you to do. There is a section of existing paving next to the shed that is in good condition and you do not need to do. The pavers are 230x155x55. Please let me know if you are interested in this job or have any questions.
