We’re looking for a qualified and experienced landscape designer to help transform our front yard (approximately 8m x 8m) into a welcoming, tropical-inspired space. We have a few specific ideas in mind, but we’d love your professional input and expertise to bring it all together. I am located in Mordialloc, Victoria. Scope of Work: Tropical Theme We’d like a lush, tropical feel with plants such as Bird of Paradise and other recommended tropical species. Bay Windows Create a planting plan in front of our bay windows to complement the house’s façade. Grass Center & Pathway The center of the yard will remain lawn, but we’d like a functional and attractive pathway. Existing pathway, concrete car parking area, may or may not stay the same, looking for ideas here. Along carport boundary fence No plants or designing required on this side. Design & Documentation Provide a digital design/mockup showing plant placement, pathway layout, and any other recommended features. Provide a full plant list with quantities and any relevant care instructions. What We’re Looking For: A qualified and experienced landscape designer with a portfolio of similar projects. Someone who can advise on suitable tropical plants for our climate and soil type. Ability to create a clear digital concept/mockup (2D or 3D renderings). A detailed plant list (including quantities) and suggested supplier(s) or cost estimates if possible. Additional Information: The yard dimensions are approximately 8m x 8m. Any irrigation or hardscaping ideas are welcome, but the main focus is on planting design, layout, and the pathway. If you have the right experience and a creative eye, we’d love to hear from you! Please share any relevant examples of your past work, expected turnaround time, and your estimated costs or hourly rate. Thank you!
