Hi everyone, I'm looking for someone advice and someone who feels they can do the job. I have a bridesmaid dress that needs to be taken in on top. It's a hard lace material with no give. The wedding will be in Ireland in June and so I will need it done by May 30th at the absolute latest. The dress maker in Ireland has said that the material is very difficult to work with but I'm not sure if it was just too hard basket. I have a long skirt that I need to be shortened by about 10cm. I will be wearing it to an event next weekend. Please see photo attached. I would like to keep the sequin design at the bottom of the skirt, so I would like to shorten it from the top if possible.
I needed 2 items to be altered within a short timeframe. Both were not easy jobs as they required work to undo prior stitching and change the structure. Despite this, Jay was able to get the job done faster than expected at a high standard. She went above and beyond to ensure it fit my body properly.
