I have just received a bridesmaid dress for a wedding on Friday and it is too big. I need urgent alterations to the top so it fits before Friday

Maxi dresses are light fabric, need to be cut to my height and hemmed. Other dress needs to be taken in- probably at the zip. Pic of this dress is attached.

Dog has destroyed zip on 3 outdoor couch cushions, the zips need to be removed and replaced

Take the hem up on some curtains that are about 20cm too long. No ruffles, just straight.

Looking to have curtains hemmed but not cut as we may reuse them later- just folded over at the bottom & stitched into place. Older house so nothing is square & curtains will likely need to be pinned in place to get the length correct. Happy to pay for thread as extra for colour match. Happy for sewing to happen at my place if that is more convenient. I bought some ‘A-brand slim high-waisted’ jeans secondhand, but they are too big, and need taking in at the waist and legs (they are marked 27” waist, i am usually 25”). I also bought a dress secondhand that is way too big and needs taking in - it is marked XL and I am XS! It’s not a fitted style, it’s supposed to be loose, but not this loose! Would need both items to be finished by 11 June (as I leave the country on the 13th)! I live in Mitchelton near Oxford Park station, can travel if not too far away (I don’t have a car so would use public transport).

I need a maxi dress hemmed by 1.2 inches at the longest point. It is longer at the back and rounded so would need to be matched in to the original shape. The material is polyester. See photos. Can be completed any day, just by the the 3rd of April.
