Support Work - General Assistance... pretend friend etc. I'm looking for someone to assist with general Support Work, including helping with general/light housework, maybe bit of shopping, coffee and chat. I'd also appreciate help to exercise/ play with my assistance dog (cavoodle). Basically I have a dodgy back (I'm in my 40s, mostly self sufficient, but really slow and sore!). Outside of my main focus, of getting up each day, looking after my children, getting them to school etc etc, I don't do too much. I need the odd bit of help with general tasks around the house and I need help and encouragement to move my arse (albeit being slower with my back) and do more social stuff. Therefore, I'm looking for someone to assist me, in the role of a support worker, initially few hours, but possibly with ongoing work (possibly including travel, if interested). In terms of skills required.... not much. Attributes however...a nice person (a decent human being), honesty, bit of maturity, can hold a conversation. Basically I'm looking for nice person who has some time to try support Work and if suitable, consider ongoing work. It would be highly desirably if you have the ability to pretend to care, pretend to have empathy and i guess, essentially pretend to be a friend. Price is for 3 hours. Can extend if parties agree. P.s. must love dogs.
