2011 Range Rover diesel alternator repair or replacement asap

So my little blue Toyota has been dead for about a month now, I’ve needed to save some $ for repairs plus general things coming up and delaying the process 🫤 I’m needing to replace the alternator and have it fitted and possibly also the battery (battery is only 8 months old so it can possibly be salvaged?) It’s a Toyota Aurion v6 2006 auto sedan and it’s currently stranded at Mansfield at a friends house. I’m able to buy the alternator on a aftermarket site if that works out better or is going to save me significant moolah but if you are up for the job ( the sooner the better) contact me with potential quotes on both the replacement and fitting of said alternator or just the fitting itself if I buy the part. I’m a single Mum of 3 so don’t have a huge budget but can afford approx $400 -$450 range Thanks in advance Amanda

We jumpstarted twice , it worked yesterday, and replaced with brand new battery, still it says low battery, today it didn’t ignite with Jumpstart too.

My Car broke down about 2.5-3 weeks ago (Toyota Aurion V6 2006 sedan) and has been sitting at a mates place in Mansfield since, I’ve had a mobile mechanic come out to look at and diagnose it and was told that it needs an alternator replacement and possibly a battery replacement if it’s stuffed up my current battery that’s only 8 months old. I was also told that to do this would require the car to be on a hoist due to the placement of the alternator. I have found a few alternators on wholesale websites and will be purchasing one this coming Thursday (6/3) so I’m just wanting to know if someone is able to do that for me and can also give me an approximate price of doing so, the sooner the better. Previous alternator broke, i replaced with a 2nd hand one. Since then, the "charging system service now" warning turns on and off intermittently. The placement of the part to be replaced is mounted on the front bottom of the engine. (Driver's side), ownership of hoist(if on business premises) , large trolley jack and or vehicle jack stands/stilts and all tools associated with type of task would be advantageous, as access is located in behind the front wheel well & could be limited from topside unless prepared to put time into teardown and reassembly to gain access.
