What do Apple Mac repair services include?

Your iMac or Macbook can run into all kinds of problems, from hard drive errors to startup and power-related issues. Don’t waste time trying to resolve the issue yourself! You can find a professional to help get your device back in working order. And while the range of services and skills can vary from Tasker to Tasker, here’s what you can expect when you book an Apple Mac repair service:

Battery service

If your Mac won’t charge or randomly shuts down, then you may be in need of a battery replacement. You can book an Apple Mac repair service near you to safely remove the back of your Mac, fit the new battery, and refit the connector. Your Tasker can also assess your battery health and advise you on how to maximize your new battery’s performance.

Apple display service

Does your screen look like it has blotches of ink on it? Your iMac or Macbook may have a broken LCD screen, and your Tasker can install a new screen on your device. Moreover, an Apple Mac screen repair service can fix or replace any parts that may be causing a flickering screen, low light, or distorted colors in your device.

Apple Mac screen repair

Nobody likes a scratched, beaten-looking Mac! A Tasker can help repair or restore physical damage on your Mac, such as a cracked or broken screen. In such cases, your professional may replace your MacBook screen to get your laptop looking as good as new.

Liquid damage repair

Spilled water or coffee on your MacBook? Even the most minor spills can inflict long-term damage on your electronics. Book an Apple Mac Pro service right away, so they can address any oxidation or corrosion in your computer’s internal components. Apart from replacing and repairing any damaged parts, your Tasker can also do a deep clean of your Mac so that any residual liquid is completely dried and removed.

Hard drive repair and replacement

If your Mac has been overheating, making strange noises, or is simply difficult to boot up, then it’s time to hire a Mac repair specialist near you. Your professional can assess and troubleshoot your Mac, then perform a repair or direct replacement of the hard drive.

Help me set up new MacBook

$200

Redfern NSW, Australia

5th Feb 2025

I have a new computer I need set up so that I can use it for recording. I’d also like to ensure all the software is installed correctly and working. I have a couple of extra fiddly things too. For instance, I need to remove an iCloud account from my old computer. And my outlook keeps on requiring me to sign back in, so some trouble-shooting on these would also be appreciated. Hoping you can come to my place in Redfern and we can work through all this in person. 🙏🏼

Mario expertly guided me through the set up and trouble-shooting I needed for my Mac, and also took the time to help me optimise aspects of the system that I didn’t even know about. He is also an incredibly nice person. I’ve found my computer guy. Will definitely make use of Mario’s expertise again if I run into Mac trouble.

Fix Mac desktop

Help clear the System Data from my Mac

$100

St Peters NSW, Australia

7th Dec 2024

The system data (and associated bin) on my Mac desktop are so huge that I can’t upgrade my iOS or install a new program that I need (I have about 2gb spare) I’ve done everything the internet suggests - my caches are empty, bin empty, I have removed all large files. I’ve installed and used ‘clean my Mac’, I even went into the background and managed to delete some stuff but it’s just gone into a bin that I can’t empty. When I try, it says things can’t be deleted because programs are in use - I have shut all programs down but suspect the issue lies with Messages in someway because although I shut it down, it remains active and the files I tried to delete related to it. For someone in the know, I expect this is the work of moments. A box I haven’t ticked somewhere. So I just need someone to get me across that line before I throw the whole thing out… which I can’t afford to do obviously. If the job turns out to be bigger, I’m open to extending the task.

Jamie was very reassuring and was able to work out what my problem was and offer solutions.

Mac to PC external hard drive file transfer

$100

I’ll provide the new hard drive, just need someone to help move the files across, someone with a functioning mac or someone who may know an easier way to achieve this.

Darlinghurst NSW, Australia

26th Jun 2024

I’ve bought a new Mac. These are the things I’d appreciate help with please. 1. I don’t want all the same stuff on the new mac as what is on old mac one drive. But it seems things have already moved over. 2. I’ve always found one drive confusing so think I want to start using Google docs and just use one drive for Outlook and when people send me Word Docs. 3. I don’t know how to save a word doc, then find it again in OneDrive cloud and attach to an email. Sometimes I find it and sometimes I don’t. Even though I’ve had one drive for years it’s still pot luck I find the doc 4. I’m creating presentations and videos. I need to setup folders for them on my new mac and in the cloud for backup 5. Someone put exchange on my phone. I don’t think I need it. There is an old email and I keep getting a notification on my mac for an exchange password for a redundant email Cheers for reading
