I need someone with experience in installing a window exhaust fan, in compliance with Australian laws and regulations. The walls are brick and render so not possible to run cables inside the wall or ceiling, however, I've been told by an electrician they can't legally run conduit due to the proximity to the shower. This makes me think a plug in fan might be the best legal option? I understand I might need a new window or to pay a glazier.
