Automatic garage door not working anymore. When I press the remote, I can hear motor sound, but garage door not moving, the belt is not moving either.

I have a Fisher and Paykel washing mashing. It has a fault where between functions the machine stops and beeps. I was able to get around the issue by turning off the machine and turning back on to go to the next function, But this morning it began with the beeping fault. I have been told by a repairer outside the service area that the problem is likely to be a water valve issue and should be simple to resolve.

After the electricity was off for a day & when turned back on the washing machine has three lights on & beeps. If you are quick you can turn it off & on & start the wash cycle. The bowl does not rotate whilst filling up & it turns on & off every few seconds. In spin cycle the water drains however the lid does not lock & the bowl does not spin.
