We have a fireplace at home which hasn’t been used in 30 years. I was told that the initial reason we didn’t use it was because the smoke did not escape out of the chimney properly due to the airflow. I’ve never had it looked at and subsequently can’t provide any more information I’m looking for some quotes on getting this repaired and in working order. Structurally I don’t believe anything is wrong with the chimney / fireplace it self.
