My Bosch series 8 washing machine shows error E18. I’ve gone through the basic steps to empty the water from the front and open the washing machine door . I can’t feel any blockage . There was no residue . The impeller in the drain pump is able to rotate. I’m not confident enough to remove the drain hose from the top back of the washing machine to see if the drain hose is blocked. The drain hose at the other end going into the wastewater is clear. I don’t think the pump itself is broken . Can you come and assist, please?

The smoke alarm is old, we tried to open to replace the battery but it can’t be opened. Need to supply and replace the smoke alarm. The house is 2 storey house and this is at the 2nd level.
