Hi, my slideout 60cm range hood is quite loud. The kitchen shares a wall with the lounge room. When the range hood is turned on, I can feel the vibration and hear the noise in the lounge room. So I am looking to see if I can install some insulation around the range hood or replace it with a quieter one.

When the range hood is on, I can hear the noise and feel the vibration on the shared wall. The size of the wall is 3.5m in width and 2.74m in height. The wall currently only has a power socket. I am open to all soundproofing proposals for this wall. 2. The wall in my master bedroom has water pipes installed inside. Every time when the washing machine or the shower is on, I can hear the noise of the water flowing in the pipes buried inside the walls in my master bedroom.
