I have removed all of the existing roof sheets from my rear awning and require someone to install new polycarbonate roof sheets (laserlite 2000 / suntuf or similar). I have not purchased any materials. The rafters are ok but a couple of the roof battens will need replacing (warped). The new battens will need to be painted black to match the existing - I have spare paint handy.  Installation required in accordance with the installation guide with 'noise stop tape' etc. Roof is approximate 26m2.

One of our awnings has come off and needs to be put back up. There is also a second awning where the rods supporting it need to be reattached.

Looking for quotes for awnings and installation for a balcony and courtyard. Looking for both options Fixed as well as retractable roofing system. Can organise site inspection to get pricing.

ITEMS FOR REMEDIAL WORK. The proposed remedial work is concerned mainly with items of surface rust on the exposed steel members as follows:- 1. Rust at isolated points on the roof sheeting. Photo 4. 2.The suspension rods. Refer to Photo 5 3.The perimeter edge channel around the three sides of the awing. Refer to Photos 5 to 7. 4. Rusting section of box gutter. Photo 8. 1. RUST AT ISOLATED POINTS ON THE ROOF SHEETING surface rust on the roof sheeting be removed by light sanding and then apply two coats of cold galvanising paint to the rusted areas of the roof sheeting. 2. THE SUSPENSION RODS. any surface rust be removed by light sanding and then the suspension rods be given two coats of cold galvanising paint. 3. THE PERIMETER CHANNELS. The steel perimeter channel along the front and the two ends of the awning is a structural member that forms part of the awning support structure. Now that signs have been removed the full extent of rusting and fascia damage has been revealed. the exposed channel be cleaned of surface rust and painted with two coats of cold galvanising paint. At the location where the fascia has rusted through, refer Photo 7, this area is to be patched with a galvanised steel plate and the area filled and painted with cold galvanising paint. 4. RUSTING SECTION OF BOX GUTTER. There is one short length of the box gutter where plain steel has been used rather than Colorbond. This length is rusting. Refer Photo 8. the surface rust be removed by light sanding and then apply two coats of cold galvanising paint to the rusted area of the box gutter. - Due date: Flexible
