We have found the skirting boards we think would work, on the Bunnings website. I think it would best to come over first, take a look and then go to Bunnings and pick up the skirting boards. The current old skirting boards need to be removed. We can get rid of those. Then come back and fit them. The two rooms are completely empty. We will pay for the skirting boards, plus $250 for the job.

My dog chewed the edges of a few skirting boards when he was a puppy and I am looking to get them replaced. The original ones are very soft wood. I’ve measured up all the lengths that will need replacing and it comes to approximately 15 metres. I’ve included a picture of the type of skirting boards the previous carpenter used to replace 2 of them a few years ago. The height is 7cm and depth is 1.5cm. The new ones are much better harder wood. I have also included the measurements in the pictures. I am in an apartment and have an elevator. I also have undercover visitor parking near the elevator and a large balcony for you to cut the materials to size. I have the original paint used for the skirting boards if you would like to repaint them as well, other wise I can do it.

Hey airtaskers, I'm currently renovating my apartment and need a qualified carpenter to come install the skirting boards. Floors are a hybrid click-system and have been installed, the walls are brick with cement render. The skirting boards are ordered and paid for and are ready for collection from Bowens, Epping. The type of skirting is below, size is 85x18mm. 2 bedrooms need new skirting boards prior to carpet being laid. One side of a door also needs to be framed up in same board. Board will be here ready to go. Would prefer someone experienced in this work.

We have had two wardrobes removed. Behind the robes there was no plaster just old mortar. This needs to be ripped out and plasterboard replaced, and blended with the new plasterboard to the side. We also need new skirting board replaced along the length of the robes. Back wall length 220mm long and 270mm high, side wall 60mm. Please note it is TWO spaces. We need it done prior to 7/2 when we are having new carpet installed.
