Our builder didn’t finish the job properly with our renovations and left gaps in the skirting board around the house and in the tile walls in the kitchen which has given ants a perfect entry into our home. Looking for a handy man (or woman!) to help and fill the gaps in our home. Our home isn’t large (town house) but happy for you to come and see what needs to be done and to quote us. You will need to bring the required gap filler and tools to complete job etc. happy to pay for it if you need to go Bunnings

Hey airtaskers, I'm currently renovating my apartment and need a qualified carpenter to come install the skirting boards. Floors are a hybrid click-system and have been installed, the walls are brick with cement render. The skirting boards are ordered and paid for and are ready for collection from Bowens, Epping. The type of skirting is below, size is 85x18mm. Inspect and replace damaged subfloor floorboards: • Room 1 (3.2m x 3.0m): Replace an estimated 5-7 damaged boards. • Room 2 (2.7m x 3.7m): Assess and replace ~30% of damaged boards (exact number to be confirmed during inspection). 2. Install skirting boards: • Along one 3.7m wall. • Two smaller sections (~0.5m each). Scope of work: • Source matching replacement boards (I’ll cover material costs). • Replace all identified damaged subfloor floorboards. • Install the specified skirting boards.

We need various jobs done around the house which include: -Install skirting boards in rumpus room -Install a 720mm internal door -Minor frame work done in kitchen (the alcove nook area that fridge and pantry need to go has a depth of 600mm and need to increase to about 750mm) - architrave to be installed on another internal door - front porch hand railing needs 2 x 1m railing install (currently missing) We also have various plaster jobs to do but might get a separate plasterer for that unless you are someone that can do it all. I understand it’s probably hard to quote total price without seeing all these jobs in person hence with the low price entered for budget. We have had two wardrobes removed. Behind the robes there was no plaster just old mortar. This needs to be ripped out and plasterboard replaced, and blended with the new plasterboard to the side. We also need new skirting board replaced along the length of the robes. Back wall length 220mm long and 270mm high, side wall 60mm. Please note it is TWO spaces. We need it done prior to 7/2 when we are having new carpet installed.

We have removed a cupboard and it shows a hole in the floor and a couple of gaps (approx 250mm & 650mm long)in the skirting board. Would like to patch these up to ensure the area is closed up / stop moisture getting in. Job does not need to be perfect as we will be putting a desk in front of it, but basically presentable.

I need a skirting board replaced. My cat repeatedly peeing in the same spot has caused the wood to rot. So need this repaired before I terminate my lease ☺️ The skirting board is about 3-4 metres total. But the affected area that needs replacing is about 1-1.5 metres.
