Belly dancer services include all the activities necessary to perform this ancient style of dancing at your wedding, birthday celebration, or other special occasions. Your Tasker can work with you to incorporate their performance into an appropriate segment of your event, use the right style and execute it in a timely and professional manner. 

Upon request, this can include the performance of one or more belly dancers for hire. While inclusions vary from Tasker to Tasker, here’s what to expect in general when booking this service:

Discussing & planning the performance

Once you’ve hired a belly dancer, they can suggest the appropriate style for your event. You can choose from Persian, Egyptian, Turkish, Lebanese, Moroccan or even fusion styles. Your Tasker can explain their features and differences, then suggest which can be the most appropriate for your needs. 

To make the occasion more memorable, feel free to share your event program and details - your Tasker can suggest at which point they can do the dance and make the most significant impact on your audience. 

Demonstrating a dance

If you want to see how the belly dance might look, some Taskers can do short live demonstrations for you via a video conferencing app. Some Taskers may do bits of the performance or an entire routine to show you the movements and the timing. Your Tasker can show you the outfit and whatever accessories they may use, such as finger cymbals or a tambourine. 

Instead of pre-recorded tracks, some Taskers may need the assistance of a live band or solo performer to provide the music. You may want to assign the task of finding their accompanying music to your hired specialist.  

Attending dress rehearsals

After you’ve chosen a specific style and approved their performance, your Tasker can attend rehearsals. They can do rehearsals in the same outfit they intend to wear at their performance upon request. If not accompanied by live music, your Tasker may check the sound system for their performance and make sure that they provide their music tracks in a compatible format like a CD, MP3 or FLAC file on a USB stick. 

You can hire assistants to walk them through the event program and make sure your event security personnel get to know them and give them passes if necessary.  

Performing at your event

On the day of the event, your hired belly dancers can make sure to arrive early enough to make the necessary preparations. They can perform their belly dance in a timely and professional manner and complete their agreed sets. Some belly dancers may do an encore performance upon request.
