Brakes are brand new but super loose. Front brakes seem fine but back brakes taking 4 meters to pull up from close to top speed. Not gripping the disc.

My trek bike was turned into an electric one by the help of my bf but because the battery is physically too big I think it's pinching the wires and it won't turn on or if it does only for about twenty seconds. I was supposed to be riding it to Mona Vale now and have had my plans thrown in the bin I'm hoping someone who knows bikes/electricals could miraculously be available now or asap to come and have a look.

I have a Bafang BBSHD with a 2000W controller and have recently purchased a 52V 100Ah 3000W battery (Blue rectangular). When I initially charged it 100%, connected it and turned on, the display, read 25V then quickly reduced to 18V and stayed there. It showed an EMPTY battery and had an error code on the display (Eggrider). I tested the battery on its own and it showed 58.8V. Thenwhen I connected it to the motor via anderson plugs, the battery side plug still measured 58.8V then when I measured the motor side plug it did the same thing as the display and read 25V reducing down to 18V immeidately. So the battery side plug which was connected to the motor side plug read 58.8V while the motor side plug maintained 18V. Needless to saythe motor doesn't work.
