I have an IKEA FRIDANS roller blind (https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/fridans-block-out-roller-blind-white-50396881/) which requires installing by: 1. drilling into the walls to install the holders on the side 2. cutting the blinds (fabric and tube) by about 1 - 2cm to fit inside the available space I tried drilling myself but the screws won't stay in :S

Hi, I'm having 4 windows and 1 sliding door replaced with new ones. I need the double roller blinds to be taken down, so that the new windows can be installed. The double roller blinds are to be kept at the house so that I can re-install it after the new windows are installed and painted. Task here is just to take down double roller blinds from 4 windows and 1 sliding door. See attached photos. I will have separate task to re-install it. Townhouse is at Brunswick. Install blind purchased from Bunnings into a plaster wall. Blind measure 120cm x 240cm. Blind comes with bracket and screws, including screws for the plaster. Requires somebody with a drill and spirit level. - Due date: Needs to be done on Friday, 22 December 2023

The blind chain has come off and I cannot open the blinds. This will presumably be a very quick job. I bought a 25mm round fit tube from Bunnings to attempt to do it myself but it seems the round tube is slightly too big and doesn't fit. I need a new chain and roll and these to be fit. Our large 2m+ wooden Venetian blind is still in good condition but the string to draw it open and closed has snapped. Hoping to find someone who can repair as string will probably need to be replaced and re-threaded. Tan brown string. Would need to be measured up and strong sourced
