Existing blinds are a mess - need to install cheap and functional roller blinds. Will need to buy specific blinds from ikea so need them installed and need the old ones removed

Have vertical blinds. The chains keep coming apart every time I open or close, I think the thicker middle bit gets caught going around at the top. Some blinds also look like they need re rolling straight.

I ordered venetian blinds online, with the intention of installing them myself. I’ve only been successful at installing one blind, because I cannot drill into the window recess far enough for the screws. I have a handheld hammer drill, but it’s not powerful enough. Rather than buy another appliance, I’d prefer to hire a professional who can handle the rest of the job. There are 4 windows left. The building is a 70s apartment with brick & concrete veneer walls. The blinds are secured by a metal bracket on each end (I have plenty of masonry screws). One is a double blind and it will need to be secured in the middle too.

The chain as part of the blinds for my windows in my room has come off so I can’t open or close my blinds which is a hassle especially when I try to sleep during the day or need privacy. It’s been stuck like this for over a month.
