My BMW X5 began emitting smoke from the exhaust and engine, prompting me to take it to a mechanic. Over a year later the car was still not fixed. New engine was put in but vehicle was still smoking and not running correctly. Need a mechanics expert opinion in writing on the work done to the vehicle. Was the new engine successfully put into the vehicle etc etc Don’t need the mechanic to fix, just a professional & honest report of the work done to the car Had to completed no later than Monday 23rd

Rear only Brake and rotor changeover on a 2015 bmw x3. Required parts supplied so just install needed. Qualified mechanic preferable. Can drop off vehicle if near glen waverley or install at my home. Shouldnt take more than an hour to do both rear sets.

I have replaced a damaged headlight and need to pull dent out of bonnet before replacing bumper. Most hard work done just having trouble getting bumper to go back on. Should only take half hour max. Wanting it done today. Bonnet will be replaced later. Just need car back on Road for now.

Needing a mechanic/auto elec no start. Need someone too start car 2013 BMW 640i F06 N55. Currently: -Car not starting due to previous accident -Parts missing from under carriage but not sure needing professional to identify. 2007 BMW 320D - battery went flat, replaced with new and now have steering wheel lock warning and airbag warning flash on screen. Car does not attempt to crank. Task required: Register new battery with the ECU/BCM, reset all warning / error messages / immobiliser and get car to start.

The car doesn't start it engages clicks but no turning over I have a starter motor new to put in because on forems that says that is the problem..will need scan tool to diagnose..car is on side of road as can't move because of electrical automatic ..thanks

Front bumper trim change and m steering wheel change

BMW E46 2000 Convertible. 3 Electrical Issues presented after battery completely died and got recharged again then put back into the car. 3 Issues: 1. INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DOESNT WORK - The cluster lights up but besides that nothing works. Not the gauges or odometer. I have taken the cluster to see if it can be repaired. Remaining 2 Issues are what I need some help with diagnosing/ repairing 2. Convertible Roof wont Open / Close - Red Light just flashes. Checked the fuses etc and boot space. Not sure if its a module or the motor or something else? 3. Stereo Head Unit wont come on at all. - Completely dead. Doesnt comes on. Not sure if these issues are all linked or completely seperate and I have no idea where to start looking or how to find out Any help would be really appreciated!

Having issues with a 1990 BMW k100 cafe racer after market speedo and need someone to find the fault and repair. I bought it as is (did not build it) and not sure what the issue could be. Details: Model as above, has a bep 3.0 and acewell 2853 speedo already installed. When I got it, the speedo was working, but it had no neutral light (so can't pass RWC). Spent some time checking all the connections, tracing wires etc and found a loose connection after the gear position sensor. Tightened it up and the neutral light came on. Put everything back together and started the bike and the Speedo is doing very odd stuff - the blinkers, high beam and neutral light indicators are ok when idling, but no rpm, speed etc. Speed and rpm do flash on and off briefly, indicator lights flash, fade in and out, or go on / stayoff, and when I ride it, the lights sometimes dim and go all together. Checked all the connections again and couldn’t find anything that looked wrong. Mechanically, the bike is running perfectly so the issue seems related solely to the speedo. Prefer someone that can come to me in Reservoir as the bike is not registered.

Car is leaking oil, currently located in carpark in apartment in Collingwood underneath Dan Murphy's. I can drive it if needed to garage. Not sure what needs fixing. Pic of car.

Swapped a new pair of aftermarket led headlights for my BMW X1 e84(2011). Because I kept getting faulty messages of "Dipped beam right". and sometimes "Dipped beam left" The new low beams are working perfectly and are very bright. But the error codes kept showing up and is really driving me crazy... I heard that the light module needs to be recoded for the error messages/faulty codes to disappear, especially with aftermarket headlights. I do not have the tools and knowledge to do this. Need someone with experience to fix this.
