Find a professional bricklayer in West Brisbane

Replace approximately 30 broken pavers (350x350mmx25mm granite) into gaps of existing paving area. Prepare slab underneath each paver and mortar/glue new pavers (supplied) down to existing slab and grout pavers in. One section of approximately 4-5 pavers will need a cement base prepare to replace loose sand where a hole was dug previously.

I would like to request a quote to repoint some external brick walls. 4 areas of our house require repointing. Some of the brick mortar has been damaged by construction and when we had pest control out they found and killed some mortar bees. So the scope of the job is acid wash the bricks to remove all the old mortar from the face, Grind out the required amount of  the old mortar, repoint the bricks using a lighter shade of mortar and a nice flush finish.  The approximate size of the areas are:  2.5m x 1.5m 2.5m x 0.8m 2.8m x 0.9m 2.1m x 0.9m

Mix materials in electric cement mixer , then fill each block with concrete , appx 100 blocks , all materials provided and electric cement mixer provided. appx 4 -5 hours work

I need besser blocks installed on the existing footing in between these brick pillars so we can render it all. 5800mm length in total at 1200mm high. Picture attached of the existing done a few years ago Approx 100 blocks needed

I need an old air conditioner unit removed and the hole filled with bricks, it’s the outside wall of the house. I have the spare bricks.

Finish retaining wall already started. Cut some concrete blocks in half Materials provided Most of the retaining wall has been completed, just one additional course of blocks required to be laid. One small draining hole to be dug. Will need to provide your own appropriate tools to properly cut concrete blocks. If possible, labouring of fill and gravel required also, but that can be negotiated once wall has been completed.

Refer to attached photo. Wall needs rebuilt using existing bricks. You will need to supply WHITE mortar/cement. Approximately 2LM x 1m high. Wall was clipped by truck and fell over. Job to be done ASAP please. Bricklaying experience preferred as this is for our customer.

I need a bricky to lay the first course of the retaining wall with mortar and glue the remaining blocks. Need to bring your own laser level and tools to make sure the wall goes up straight. These are Versaloc blocks, which lock in together and only the first layer needs mortar. I have the required blocks, rods, sand, cement and a cement mixer. Length 7.5m and 1.2 m height (6blocks height) Want to core fill this Saturday morning, job to be done on this Thursday or Friday. - Due date: Before Saturday, October 14, 2023

We are building a ~22m retaining wall in front of a house with most of it 800mm height, and a 1.2m width stairs, and an external corner. There is a section that goes from 4 blocks to one block (stepped on slope) We are using Heron blocks (which dont require mortar and are interlocking), and filling with blue stone. We have trenched and filled it with compacted road base (~150mm). We found putting the first layer properly leveled and straight is challenging for us and takes too long. Were thinking to add some cement or mortar under the first layer by a brick layer?! two poeple are there to help, you need to level (bring your own laser leveling), and lay the bricks and steps. If u let me know how much mortar is needed I can buy . (The most important one for us is the first layer and want it to be perfectly straight, leveled and stable) We will help with digging, moving gravels, blocks or road base or cement. Looking to find someone well experienced and preferably worked with heron blocks before. Want to do this on Tuesday 8am-5pm (and if not finished will continue on Wednesday and Thursday) If you can price me for laying the first blocks, laser leveled and steps done (ready for 400*400 pavers) would be great. Someone reversed into the top half of our brick letterbox and cracked the mortar and the internal letterbox. Looking for someone with some bricklaying skills to remove the top half of the letterbox, remove the old mortar and re-lay the bricks with a 'brick-in' letterbox (which we will purchase in advance). - Due date: Before Sunday, 4 December 2022
