Need someone who knows their way around diesel engines who can come and help check for damage and try and get the water out of the engine asap. Will need to remove glow plugs and disconnect intercooler , hand crank and hope we can get the water out. Drove through a mud hole too quickly and sucked in water. Hi motor was sold as long motor, I'd expect that existing externals like aircond, power steering etc would need changeover, would need oil , coolant etc, and I'm thinking possibly wise to do thermostat and possibly water pump. I will supply parts and would do the running around to pick up etc. Sump and oil pick up needs changing as well as motor LFW 3.0 litre is out of a VF going into VE series 2 wagon to replace LFW motor.

Car will start and not go into reverse. Can you forward. After leaving car for a period of will turn again n can move. Can have trouble excellerating. Other times runs like a dream.
