Hi Courtney, We are looking to get a repair on a Mazda 3. We are having issues where it is working perfectly and then will stop working and then work again. In particular the accelerator pedal will cut out, so you can push it down, but the car won't rev. We have had it looked at, but they haven't been able figure out the issue. Diagnose and fix engine knock coming from top of engine on 98 Toyota Hilux 3rz engine Knock is coming from the top of the engine under sudden throttle input and under load. Turns over and starts ok. I suspect something to do with valve clearances .
