Mechanic - thread restoration

Bolt thread from a BMW C600 engine block. 2 bolts are maintaining the bike side stand structure. Corrosion has unplugged one bolt and its thread, while the other bolt is stuck in its thread without the head to remove it. At the moment I use this bike without the side stand which I have removed. BMW has reviewed this issue and confirmed they could fix it by recreating a thread. Bought the original bolt from BMW. I need a skilled car/bike mechanic experiences in similar task to : 1. recreate the thread 2. remove the one stuck 3. re mount the side stand (optional)

What do car restoration services include?
Depending on the appearance you want to achieve and your vehicle’s needs, your car restorer will be handling the following tasks:
Â
Preparation for car restoration
Clear a space for the whole process. Keep in mind that your vehicle and car restorer will be in that space for a long time, so make sure that the work area is not obstructed and that it won’t block any passageways in your home or garage.
Take lots of pictures and share your research or desired look beforehand. Make sure that you and your tasker are aligned in terms of how you want your car to look.
Â
Disassembly
Your tasker will start removing your car’s gas tank, battery, chrome and stainless steel pieces, glass parts, and seats. After this, your car’s headliner, door trim, interior trim, and carpet will be removed. Your car’s dashboard instruments will have their wire positions marked before removal. Finally, your tasker will remove the boot and bonnet lids, the doors, engine, transmission, body, and suspensions.
Do note that the whole disassembly process will take around 40 hours alone.
Â
The main event: Car restoration
Your car restoration expert will then clean, repaint, re-plate, and re-chrome your car’s parts and accessories. They will also handle repair work that needs to be done. Depending on the need, they can even replace any parts or re-upholster the seats. They can strip, clean, and repaint your car’s frame, weld in new metal, and replace instruments like the car’s radio and heater box.
Â
After car restoration: Reassembly
Once you are satisfied with the restoration of all the components, your tasker will rebuild your vehicle. The usual process is to install the wiring harness, followed by the dashboard instruments. The interior trim will be replaced, followed by the front and rear glass. Then, the doors will be rehung, the seats reinstalled, and the boot area fitted out. Then, the bumpers and exterior trim will be replaced.
Â
Before putting the lid on the bonnet, your car restorer will check if the vehicle is in good working condition. At this point, you’ll want to check on the project yourself, to be sure that everything’s hunky-dory before you hit the road.
