Update: it turns out it is the plastic brakelight stopper that is broken and needs replacing. Uncertain whether the BL switch is a problem. Sorry for confusion Supply and replace the brake light switch on a Honda Civic (2000, sefan) Info: Battery was dead flat. When jump-started, the brakelights would not turn off when ignition was off. We discovered brake light switch near brake pedal had broken so we removed. We pulled the BL fuse to avoid further drain on battery. We have a 2006 honda jazz that we rent out on uber car share. Someone has advised it has a left headlight out. We are away from the car so need someone to get a bulb and go fit it.
