What does a car service include?
As a general rule, your car will likely need to be serviced every 6-12 months, depending on the manufacturer’s recommendations. Oil and oil filter change
An oil and oil filter change will help your car run smoothly and increase fuel efficiency. It’s one of the most important parts of a service and should be included in both minor and major services. Your mechanic will find the oil drain plug, loosen and unscrew it, and carefully allow the old oil to drain into a pan. I need a service done on my 2006 suburu outback. I cannot drive it to the mechanic or shop. It needs coolant which I'm unable to go out and get. I didn't notice the coolant had ran out and I barely made it home. I also need the oil changed and a new oil filter. I will pay around $200. I have the oil but you'll need to buy the filter and coolant out of the $200. (That will be around $30 for the filter and coolant from SCA) so payment for service will be around $170.
