What does a car service include?
As a general rule, your car will likely need to be serviced every 6-12 months, depending on the manufacturer’s recommendations. The exact inclusions of your car service and mobile car service will vary depending on how much work is needed on your car. Some of the popular car services you can book on Airtasker include:
Oil and oil filter change
An oil and oil filter change will help your car run smoothly and increase fuel efficiency. It’s one of the most important parts of a service and should be included in both minor and major services. Your mechanic will find the oil drain plug, loosen and unscrew it, and carefully allow the old oil to drain into a pan. Then they’ll replace and tighten the plug before removing and replacing the filter. Finally, they’ll fill up with fresh oil up to the “full” mark on the dipstick.
Car minor service
A minor service is also known as an interim or basic service. It focuses on changing and topping up fluids and inspecting a number of components for wear and tear. A minor service includes an oil and filter change; an under-body and under-bonnet inspection; a top-up of all key fluids in the engine, including washer fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze, and steering fluid; and a check of up to 35 key components, such as lights, tyres, and brakes. Most mechanics will also check the manufacturer guidelines and recommend any additional work your car may need.
Car major service
A major service includes all the basic services described above, but will also include an inspection of an additional 15-30 car components to ensure that your vehicle is in the best condition possible. These components can include wheel bearings, shock absorbers, and the air conditioning system. Any parts that need extra work or replacement, such as car batteries or windscreens, will be billed as extra.

Honda CRV rear seat latch repair

Rear seats in CRV won't fold down. Had it looked at by a mate and apparently its something to do with the latch not releasing (could be wrong, but it seems to make sense). Need to fiddle around with the latch and a screwdriver to get it to unlock when iv needed it. I did a bit of research, and it seems to be pretty common with 2014 CRV models—heaps of YouTube videos, blogs, and forums explaining how to fix it. *Pics below (off the internet) are of how its supposed to fold down, but its just stuck in the standard seat-sitting position. *Price negotiable atm - need to get an idea how much it would be worth. Subaru Liberty, 1999, RX 2.5 Ltr Auto. I'm in Port Maquarie, car in small amount water left passenger side. 1 inch water inside left, drivers side little water not as much. Car starting and spat out water from exhaust. Cleared that. Is able to start but will not Idol, sounds bot like misfire. Needs to be checked and fixed.
