What do Car Speaker Installation services include?

Car speaker installation services usually include installing three common types of speakers in your car. Installing these types of speakers will give your car stereo a more vibrant, fuller sound. These typical speaker types you can have installed are tweeters, woofers and subwoofers. Depending on the size and specifications of speakers you want to install, they may also entail some customisation to your car’s door panels, speaker baseboards and electricals.

Car Audio Fitting: Removing Factory Speakers

Whether you’re upgrading your car’s current speaker system with a better-sounding one or replacing damaged speakers, Taskers will remove all the old speakers on your car. Expect experienced specialists to shut off your car’s electricals as they go about installing the new speakers. They can then safely remove the old speakers and work on removing the dashboard, door panels and baseboard situated between the car’s rear seats and rear windscreen.

Audio installers can do this without damaging the door panels, baseboard or dashboard and ensure your new speaker system will have a secure and stable platform.

Installing Door Speakers

For this part of your speaker replacement or upgrade, audio installers will remove the door panels, then install your new speakers. Should your upgrade come with tweeters, your Tasker will install those, rewiring and cutting any new holes on the door panels as needed to mount the tweeters. Installers may then reinstall the factory grilles if they still fit or install any grilles that come with the new speakers. They can do the necessary rewiring, then reinstall the door panels.

Installing Dashboard Speakers

One of the main components of your new car speaker system consists of the dashboard speakers. Installers will remove the dashboard cover panels and remove the old factory speakers. They can then replace the old speakers with your new replacement or upgraded ones.

In some cases, installers may need to make special supports or mounts to accommodate your new dashboard speakers. Prices and the scope of the work can vary from Tasker to Tasker, so be sure to know whether your new speakers can fit the dashboard.

Installing Rear Speakers

The most important part of your car’s speaker system that can let everyone experience and enjoy a richer sound is the rear speakers, as these may also include the subwoofers. For the rear speakers, installers can remove the baseboard and replace your car’s old factory speakers. Some specialists can create modifications to the baseboard or special mounts for the new speakers and subwoofers if needed. They can also make the rewiring required to attach the speakers and subwoofers to your car’s stereo and power source.

Custom Car Speaker Installation

Not all new car speaker systems are alike, and services can vary from Tasker to Tasker. Some installers may also offer customising work to your car’s door panels, dashboard or rear baseboard. These may be necessary if your vehicle is an older model and needs unique mounts; this is common practice for newer, larger speakers or for components that weren’t in your car before, such as tweeters or subwoofers.
