Hi all, I am seeking advice from an independent car audio specialist. I have a VW Multivan and need someone to recommend the right parts, source the parts, and install the parts, for a stereo upgrade. All I want us to run a subwoofer with the current system. There is an underseat enclosure available and I'm happy with that, but there's mixed advice online and I'm confused about the best way to get the stock stereo's output (via speaker cables) to an amp, which would then power the sub. It doesn't have to be super great quality - just a cheep and cheerful banging bass setup to accompany the existing system. There are lots of options to spend lots of money and pull out the head unit for upgrades, but I'm not keen on this route. Please only reply if you are a full time experienced installer. The price is for the advice and wiring. I will do the physical box install etc, but I would need you to wire up power to the amp and run wires to get the sound signal from the headunit to the amp. To confirm again - the price quoted here is for your advice, and payment for the time it takes to install all the wiring. The cost of all the hardware will be covered by me - and I will invest the time installing the sub box.

I need to get my new stereo installed on my 2012 Audi a4. Have also got dash cam and reverse camera need to be done also. Want all dash cam cords to be hidden has hardwire kit I want installed too. Want reverse camera hooked up to my new stereo and radio to hooked up to steering wheel controls.

Finish car stereo installation

I would like this installed in my 2012 Outback 3.6R. I believe that it's a little more complicated than a drop in replacement because my car was 'top of the range' with the MacIntosh factory stereo / maps unit. Apparently the complication comes because there is a built in amplifer which needs an on / off signal sent. If you're a car stereo installer (as in, actually know what you're doing!!) and know this issue, then please give me a quote. I need it done 'right' if you know what I mean. They’re quite small. So may work with pioneer components and a plastic welder/modifications or I have 19mm infinity tweeters. If either tweeters can’t fit happy to keep factory and power with amp.
