I have an old Camry 1998. We had a system fixed in it about 10-12 years ago with camera and GPS features as well as radio etc. The original stereo was removed. The system has stopped working and keeps draining the battery. I had to get it jumpstarted multiple times over the last year and every time when it stays undriven for a week or so, the battery dies again. I have a double din stereo head unit and a facia kit with harness that I want to have installed in my car (2000 CLK430). The dash has the perfect size hole for a double din but there will be a metal bracket divider that will need to be cut out. Pictures to help explain. The car forums say its a common upgrade but not as straight forward as some due to the bracket.

Hi all, I am seeking advice from an independent car audio specialist. I have a VW Multivan and need someone to recommend the right parts, source the parts, and install the parts, for a stereo upgrade. All I want us to run a subwoofer with the current system. There is an underseat enclosure available and I'm happy with that, but there's mixed advice online and I'm confused about the best way to get the stock stereo's output (via speaker cables) to an amp, which would then power the sub. It doesn't have to be super great quality - just a cheep and cheerful banging bass setup to accompany the existing system. There are lots of options to spend lots of money and pull out the head unit for upgrades, but I'm not keen on this route. Please only reply if you are a full time experienced installer. The price is for the advice and wiring. I will do the physical box install etc, but I would need you to wire up power to the amp and run wires to get the sound signal from the headunit to the amp. To confirm again - the price quoted here is for your advice, and payment for the time it takes to install all the wiring. The cost of all the hardware will be covered by me - and I will invest the time installing the sub box.

I need the original head unit removed from 2016 VW Multivan and replaced with Pioneer DMH-A565OBT and other parts required. Vehicle already has a reverse camera. Vehicle has steering wheel controls for volume etc so there is parts for this. Please see pics for all parts required in install.

I would recommend checking in with Daniel that you have all the required parts before you begin the task, as I went and bought my parts in store as recommended by the store person.
