One of the S U carburators has a bad fuel leak which is being caused by a faulty connection which i only just noticed as i have only recently bought the car

I have a Honda CB400 Super Four Big Project One. 1993. I'm looking to restore this bike and it struggles to start and when it does it runs very poor, then good, back to being poor and no throttle response and struggles to start with large backfires in occasion. Looking to get a carby clean and a general tune and service on the engine and carbys. Not sure how much I'm up for but thought I'd put it out there.

Someone to come out strip the bike to inspect head gasket replace it with a better one and clean the carby to be done at the house or I can drop the bike off

Hi,I have a 93 electra ultra classic.Was working fine,Recent service about a years ago-but riden less than 40klms.But after sitting, I can't get started. Used start ya bastard.Have drained and renewed fuel,checked lines-they all flow,Traced it to carby.I had a mechanic who just retired-after a few questions-he said is it spraying fuel (took cover off).To sign or smell of fuel-Thinking its pretty simple for someone who knows.Rather than get it transported-how much to attend a house in Ashmore for a look and possibly fix on site?RegardsRob

I have a holden 383 stroker that is running lean and needs a tune.

Haven’t used my mercury 4hp outboard engine in a while. I’ve put new fuel in, changed the spark plug but need someone to clean out the carb.

Motor runs fine once started but carby seems to not consistently prime bowl on start?

1999 Yamaha Roadstar 1.6L V-Twin starts and idles fine but runs rough and dies when accelerating. I sprayed carby and throttle body cleaner down the barrel and it's much better but still not right.

A 1978 Ford Ranchero with a 351 V8 Cleveland engine. Fuel leaking from carby. Need someone familiar with older V8 engines to sort this out.

I put a battery in and it wants to start, but I carby is gummed up and I haven’t put fuel in or checked tank or fuel lines or fuel pump. Basically, I want someone to come round, and assess the fuel system - and definitely clean carby as it’s a bit stuck, due to non use. As there are several factors - this fee is to assess the above including removing the carby to assess to extent to which cleaning needs to be. I’ll then consider a reasonable quote for starting the vehicle. I’ve done it myself with far worse examples. Also, I have another running hijet van and we can borrow parts to help establish / eliminate. Carby supplying to much fuel

I need my carry tuned up gas problems going up hills, have replaced fuel pump and leads, distributor cap, both oils, - problem may be tuning of carby or a new distributor. Let's try carbs first
