I have a hallway that I want to put a pull up bar in but the space is only 80cm wide. I’ve looked for commercial ones and they are wider. It’s a present for someone who is 172cm and they would like to have to jump up to it to use it. Would obviously have to be sturdy. Definitely needs to be free standing as I don’t want to screw anything into the walls.

We just need to reattach an old skirting board as well as the quarter round back to the underlying masonry after salt damp treatment. We’ll sort out painting and detailing (since it’s an old house the top of the skirting board is all caulked up to seal it to the brick) unless you’re willing to do that too!
