He turned up 15 mins late to take down the cupboards and cabinets. As he was taking down the cabinets, he said there would be some damage expected to the walls and I accepted that. He moved on to remove the cupboard and broke a floor tile and socket. Electricity was out and I spent $150 for an electrician to fix it. Work was finished at this point; it was only 1 h and 15 mins but he charged by 2 hours block. Fair enough, I accepted as well. He removed the shelves by mistake and took them to the dump. I rang and messaged but no answer. He proposed to get new wood from Bunnings and cut the shelves as replacement. I still have to paint the edges to restore the original look. I agreed to pay for the shelves but he wanted to charge for the labour fee, and was not negotiable when I explained that there were a lot of other costs that I’ve taken on. He threatened to take my things back from the dump if I don’t pay labour cost and even started removing my shelves. DO NOT HIRE HIM!

I have 2400 wide x 2100 high new sliding doors which requires to be installed by a professional carpenter or a builder. There are 2 doors in the same size already fitted on the existing door trims. Both are old and weathered and hence replacing with the new ones. I can have them removed for you prior to your arrival so that the new ones are good to go in straight of the bat.
