Hi! I want to build a lamp to gift my Dad for his 60th using recycled materials from my grandpa’s old shed (he was always tinkering/creating like that). I have an overall idea, however I don’t have experience metalworking, so would love some help/advice joining some pieces together. Attached are photos of pieces I’d like to join to create a lampshade.

hinges have come off the bottom of a small platform. It needs a small piece of wood attached and then the hinges re-done. Should be very simple. Maybe 15mins work, plus a trip to Bunnings if you needs screws an a small piece of wood.
