We are looking for someone to sand and re-stain our back deck (uncovered) in Bardon. There are also some boards needing to be replaced, I am not sure if this is something you can also do? Replace rotten wooden beams under landing half way up stairs and 4 rotten steps. The new stairs need to be painted on the sides and underneath prior to installation. I will supply the paint.

I’ve found a slab of travertine that I would like to get installed as a benchtop. It will have a cutout for the sink, tap hole and cook top. All square edges and no waterfall. Will be around June. Hi, My partner and I are in the process of pricing up an extension of a house in Brisbane. We are going to owner build, but are after a carpenter to do the concrete form work / foundations, framing and sheeting. It is for a suspended garage, room built under the garage and a new internal staircase. About 90sqm all up, yellow part of picture attached. We are looking to start in May. What needs to be done: 1. Pickup of Materials: • Collect pre-paid decking from Bunnings: 140 x 19mm SpecRite Merbau Pre-Oiled Decking - Random Lengths. • Confirm pick-up details with me prior to collection. • Transport decking materials to the house in Bardon. 2. Replacement of Decking Boards: • Replace the rotten decking boards located on the left-hand side of the deck, as indicated in the provided photograph. • Carefully remove the old, rotten boards to avoid damage to the existing deck structure. • Install the new timber decking, ensuring secure fastening and alignment with the existing structure for aesthetic continuity. 3. Disposal of Old Boards: • Remove all old, rotten timber boards from the property. • Dispose of the old boards responsibly at an appropriate facility. Materials Provided: • Decking boards (140 x 19mm SpecRite Merbau Pre-Oiled Decking - Random Lengths). • Decking screws will be supplied. Requirements: • Required to bring your own tools for the job. • Use appropriate tools and techniques for removal and installation to ensure no damage to the deck structure. • Ensure the new boards are securely fastened and aligned properly. • Leave the site clean and tidy upon completion of the work. Additional Notes: • The pre-oiled decking boards are ready for installation but should be inspected upon pick-up to ensure no defects.

It is what it seems to be a laminated backsplash made out of metal and plastic it has a yellow stain caused by heat and a pasty thing above that, it kind of came off with bi-carb soda past (bi-carb and water). I would also be open to discuss prices and if any has got any tips that would be really helpful. :)

We need a manhole cut in the ceiling of our walk-in-robe and then fitted off and completed so that it looks similar to that in the photo (or happy to consider other recommendations on finishes). We will paint. We have had the ceiling cavity inspected and understand that the area above where we want the manhole to go has been prepped to take the manhole but for whatever reason it wasn’t installed. As you will see from the photos, there are already guide holes in the ceiling showing the outline of the manhole space. Access is super easy. If you’re properly licensed and experienced we would love your help. I’ve also got no idea on what a reasonable cost to complete this work is, so keen to consider your estimates.

Wanting something simple like a laundry/broom cupboard to store our vacuum cleaner and a few other miscellaneous bits and pieces. Our budget would include materials. We are chasing a quote for a stair case which we need for our existing external deck (at present you can only entre the deck from inside the house and we are installing a pool to our back yard and would like direct access to the yard from the deck). The fall from the deck to the ground level (existing paved area) is 3.23-metres. Turn the closet under my stairs into a walk-in linen cupboard. Specifically: - Put up plasterboard on the unplastered walls - Install chicken wire on exposed parts of the ceiling, to stop rodents getting into the closet. - scrape the old flaky paint off the brick walls and repaint - Paint the new plasterboard walls - put up shelves.
