Hi, My partner and I are in the process of pricing up an extension of a house in Brisbane. We are going to owner build, but are after a carpenter to do the concrete form work / foundations, framing and sheeting. It is for a suspended garage, room built under the garage and a new internal staircase. About 90sqm all up, yellow part of picture attached. We are looking to start in May. What needs to be done: 1. Pickup of Materials: • Collect pre-paid decking from Bunnings: 140 x 19mm SpecRite Merbau Pre-Oiled Decking - Random Lengths. • Confirm pick-up details with me prior to collection. • Transport decking materials to the house in Bardon. 2. Replacement of Decking Boards: • Replace the rotten decking boards located on the left-hand side of the deck, as indicated in the provided photograph. • Carefully remove the old, rotten boards to avoid damage to the existing deck structure. • Install the new timber decking, ensuring secure fastening and alignment with the existing structure for aesthetic continuity. 3. Disposal of Old Boards: • Remove all old, rotten timber boards from the property. • Dispose of the old boards responsibly at an appropriate facility. Materials Provided: • Decking boards (140 x 19mm SpecRite Merbau Pre-Oiled Decking - Random Lengths). • Decking screws will be supplied. Requirements: • Required to bring your own tools for the job. • Use appropriate tools and techniques for removal and installation to ensure no damage to the deck structure. • Ensure the new boards are securely fastened and aligned properly. • Leave the site clean and tidy upon completion of the work. I have two pieces of mdf board (1200x2400) that I want to be cut down to 1200x2200.

We are chasing a quote for a stair case which we need for our existing external deck (at present you can only entre the deck from inside the house and we are installing a pool to our back yard and would like direct access to the yard from the deck). The fall from the deck to the ground level (existing paved area) is 3.23-metres.
