I’m looking to upgrade my Toyota Hiace campervan with a small deck so I can sit on the roof for sunsets/stargazing etc. There is already a roof rack installed (side bars and cross bars) so I’m hoping it’s not a massive job, just a case of securing some timber to the rack. The roof already has a solar panel and skylight taking up a fair amount of space at the front and middle of the van, so this would be a small deck at the back. Happy for someone to come take a look and see what they reckon the job would need (and how much it would cost)! I’d obviously provide all the materials needed but need someone with their own tools. Happy to adjust the budget if it turns out to be a smaller/bigger job than I think.
