My simple ceiling skylight has its cover broken ie the clear prismatic diffuser. I have an idea to replace it with a sturdy piece of lightweight PVC which is actually a new chair mat. This needs to be cut and just stuck up on the ceiling with blue tack (similar), of which I have both on hand. It is then removable in hot Perth summers. So I have the materials, do you have the tools for the job? Open to alternative ideas? 1. Cut the PVC 2. Stick it in 6 or so places with blue tack (similar) 3. Apply the rectangle to the ceiling and make it stick.

Budget is at $50 because I don’t know what this costs. Hi, we have had our stone benchtop but to accommodate a new cooktop. The cabinetry underneath also needs about 20-25mm taken out so the cooktop can fit flush. Pic attached of what is needed. Hope that makes sense.
