One side of the stairs to our decking has moved resulting in the steps becoming disconnected from the edges and not usable. We need someone to realign and secure the steps so this doesn’t happen again. The wood is in good condition.

There is a TV and floating cabinet that will need to be worked around with the cutting of the panels. The TV will likely need to come down during installation, then put back up. We will of course clean up the area prior so there is no stuff in the way. The next pic is just of the boxes of wall panels we have already received. We have a bedroom upstairs that is built into the roof space and has a partially angled ceiling. We are looking to extend the room further into the roof space, following the angled ceiling line. This will push ~1m into the roof space. The area along the existing wall and in the new extended portion is to be clad in VJ panels (https://www.easycraft.com.au/products/easyvj/). I have attached photos of the rear of the wall to be demolished. As it is partially load bearing, the roof rafters will need to be strengthened to cover the larger span. An additional doorway is to be plastered over, and anther opening to be constructed in a plaster wall in a separate area of the bedroom. I'm currently in the process of converting my office apartment from commercial to residential . It is zoned both. Part of this process requires the dismantling of built in timber desks/built in timber cupboards. This occurs in 6 offices which will become bedrooms etc. There is also an oak timber bar requiring dismantling. I have access to removalists, so this is not a removalist job. It is simply dismantling the furniture so that it can be subsequently removed. I will be responsible for the removal. As the built in desks have power-points, the job will require the assistance of an electrician. - Due date: Before Thursday, 15 December 2022

Our pool fence (glass) is on a lean and needs repair. A professional pool fence guy has come out to assess it, he's too busy to do the repairs though. The problem is that the timber decking (that the glass balustrades are screwed into) is not strong enough to take the weight of the glass, and are leaning over. The glass is ok, and is securely attached to the boards. It is the boards themselves that are leaning, they need more / stronger timber underneath the decking. It is a timber frame underneath. The pool fence guys assessment was that the glass balustrades (x4) need to be removed (they are simply screwed down), and 1 or 2 of the decking boards need to be removed, with more timber strengthening underneath. Then put the glass balustrades back where they were. For the purposes of this quote I am assuming no materials are needed (if materials are required, that will be at my cost). He has not provided a quote, but said it should be 2 people for half a day. This is what I have based my budget on, but happy for you to come and have a look and quote. I am happy to help, in which case the quote I assume will be lower. Please specify this in your quote (i.e. if you will bring 2 people, or if you will require my help) I am looking for someone with a professional building / carpentry background, ideally with pool decking experience. We installed blackwood timber bench tops in our kitchen more than 30 years ago. We have arranged for a new kitchen to be installed and the design includes reusing the large section of the benchtop which is currently 208cm x 91cm x 3.5cm.
