Forgive me if I am unable to explain this properly, and also completely open to suggestions! We recently converted our garage to a spare room/study. The finishing touches need to be done and one of those is fixing wood trim on the hardie board planks at the front of the house. Unfortunately, when the hardie boards were fitted, the trims weren't installed first, so we now need to make it look neat and finished. We were trying to cut notched in the trim wood to make it fit around the hardie board, but we aren't tradesmen so have no idea how to do it and make it look professional. Anyway, if anyone can let us know if it can be done, or offer an alternative that will make it look finished and professional, I'd be so appreciative! Pics for context.

Brand is “Easyshed”. In a flat pack, ready for you to put together. Preferably someone who has done this before. On a newly laid concrete slab. 8 bolts to be drilled into slab. Silicone to be applied inside and outside on ground level easy access and need done as soon as possible. May need 2 people to make it easier. I am 70 yr old pensioner( have had 2 hip replacements and a knee replacement). And have moved. Need it for storage.
