The job Includes: - site visit to Elsternwick to discuss/plan - extend the two doors with extra hardwood (need them around 50mm taller, to match other doors in the space) and then lightly sanding/repainting doors - retrofitting the doors as French doors. Note- There is approx 150mm gap each side which will need to be filled in with timber frame - removal of lower fretwork section - enclosing upper fretwork with glass panels on both sides (glass panels will be provided) - matching the picture rail and extending it seamlessly above the doorway - sourcing all required materials except the glass panels.

Our dining table seems to have suffered water damage and a small part of the wood has warped and curved up from the rest of the table. We are looking for a handyman / carpenter who is able to use glue / a clamp (or any other suggestions!) to put it back in place. Hi, Wood on the inside center area of the window frame is rotten and needs replaced. Wood is also rotten on the outside along the window on the right. Please see images. First floor apartment, roughly 5m high on the outside.

Water damage to ceiling in 6 places. Most of it mild and probably just needs stain blocking and painting. One spot might need replastering (last pic). Already have left over ceiling paint.

Old pantry is water damaged, it needs to be taken out and a new one put in. Hoping for a few sliding draws at the bottom and otherwise basic shelving. Hello, I have a couple shelving/carpentry jobs that need doing. I don't have any of the materials so they will need to be factored into the cost. 1) I would like to add a shelf to an existing closet. The right end of the shelf will need to be notched as there is an electrical conduit that runs vertically and won't enable a flush shelf (see photo). Approx 110cm x 51cm. The closet is inset into a cavity surrounded by bricks, but there appears to be an air pocket between the bricks and the ply(?) board backing (confirmed by an electrician who just installed an outlet there). Please let me know how you propose to stabilise the shelf. 2) There is an existing storage closet that currently has 4 shelves built in. I would like the bottom shelf removed if structurally possible. In addition, I would like the remaining 3 shelves to be cut in half (so that I will have half of the closet available for vertical storage. So the shelves will need to be sawn in half and then supports added for the half that remains. Please provide me with a quote based on the request above, including material costs and what material you propose to use for the shelving. Thank you!
