Hoping to get a rough idea of how much it might cost to install an attic ladder. The quote is JUST for the installation of the ladder. We will supply materials/complete the rest of the task ourselves. We’re hoping to replace an existing manhole with a drop down ladder to access attic storage space. Please see photos of existing manhole/ceiling (excuse the grubby handprints)! Please quote roughly how much this would cost us and when you are available. Hey! We are looking to add a small rectangular kitchen island bench to our open plan apartment kitchen. Ideally made from wood and white stone. Looking for someone to source the materials and build for us, and very open to design ideas too. Feel free to reach out if you specialise in this kind of work! Install retractable awning for 3 m width and 2.4 m height. We will supply the awning. The contractor will first need to install a beam across first, paint it and secure wall brackets to the beam as showed on pictures. Rafter bracket or similar will need to be installed. Then the awning will need to be installed on that beam. Please note that the contractor will need to have prior experience and installation will need to be sturdy.

Installation of attic stairs in our corridor. High ceilings >3m. Existing small hatch to be increased in size to fit stairs. We will supply the stairs kit.

Build wooden deck railing. You will need to supply the material. Approximately 10m of railing needed. See photo for idea.

Our induction cook top was not installed correctly and we need to modify the kitchen joinery to allow for more air ventilation. There are two key changes. 1: Need to cut a hole out of the kicker under the oven and install a ventilation grill (I can supply the grill) 2: Need to see if we can retrospectively expose a small gap between the oven and countertop. There is a small board above the oven which I think could be removed and something done in this space but need someone with expertise to advise what is possible. The benchtop is Cesarstone however the white board under it is wood. Happy to negotiate final price as no idea what this would cost

I'm trying to get 2 opening skylights in our converted loft room repaired. Basically we had the room re plastered and removed the wooden trim that goes around the skylight box. There is also a small hole that needs patching with filler in the timber and then we were wanting to get the skylights painted at least on the inside - Due date: Flexible

We are wanting a ramp built for our old dog to access the back garden as the steps are now too steep for him. Happy for this to be a platform coming off the deck and then a ramp going down from that or an L-shaped ramp, whatever works best. Idea is for the ramp to be a gentle slope down the side passage. Happy for this to be nailed/attached to the deck. Would need you to provide the materials so please quote for materials as well as labour costs. Access down our driveway and through side gate so no need to come through the house, covid-safe and we will keep our dog inside. Photos include our back deck and steps where we would like the ramp built, and an example that a friend built at their place. Would love to hear from any builders regarding cost and time to build please :) Had to select a date but any time in the next couple of weeks would be great.

Turning a shop into artist studio - need to install mdf in front of brick walks to make them easy to /drill/nail into with minimal damage. Will need to be painted white. There is also a large mirror here that needs removing
