The wooden bench top around our sink has stayed to fray and rot. Need someone to replace it and seal it. Ideally you'd help us find a replacement that matches the rest of the bench. Bench is 3.15m wide at its widest and 60cm deep. It cuts in around the windows sill and meets diagonally with the rest of the bench.

Looking for a carpenter to build a custom built in wall unit in our living room before our baby starts crawling! We would like shelving on either side of the door, and across the top of the door up to the picture rail. There are 2 rooms (around 20m2 in total) where floorboards are squeaking and is a visible gap between skirtboard and the floor - see photo. House has access to go underneath to inspect. Recently purchased a Breville Quick Touch Crisp that is 513mm wide, only to find out that the inside of my microwave hutch is only 500mm. The hutch is a modular style shelf from Harvey Norman (over 20 years old) and it looks like it's two pieces that were butted together that have added 20mm on either side (see attached). I'm not sure what the weight bearing implications are, or what sort of complications could arise, but I'm looking for a carpenter / handyman to cut away / cut into these inside panels of the hutch to allow the microwave to fit. The microwave is only 306mm high, so the entire panel doesn't necessarily need to be cut away height wise if that is deemed safer for weight load. But really, I need an expert on this instead of doing my own Bunnings DIY. Any help would be greatly appreciated! - Due date: Flexible

Change swing of two internal doors - carpenter needed. I need the swing of two bedroom doors changed from right to left. They currently swing in to the right towards the centre of the room. I want these doors changed to swing in to the LEFT towards the wall to maximise space. Doors will need to be removed and reversed. Reuse existing hinges, and other door hardware such as door handles, strike plate, etc. Door jamb/frame may require some slight adjustments to ensure the newly hung doors close perfectly into the frame. I've included photos of one of the two doors that needs changing, plus a diagram showing the two doors and how I want the swing changed. Let me know if you need other info. We have a shop front in Newtown needing renovation and we'd like to find someone who can help remove the old floating timber floor, wall and ceiling panels and possibly with other parts of the renovation. Ideally want it to be done in the first half of January.
