Site Utilities: Water, electricity, and toilet facilities available. Working Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Scope of Work 1. Site Preparation • Inspect the rotten fascia boards to confirm replacement measurements: • 1300mm x 190mm x 30mm • 2050mm x 1300mm x 30mm • Set up scaffold to provide safe access to the fascia boards. • Clear the work area to ensure safety and efficiency during replacement works. 2. Supply of Materials • Provide premium treated timber fascia boards matching the specified dimensions. • Supply all required fixings, adhesives, and waterproofing materials. • Prepare primer, undercoat, and external-grade paint for finishing. 3. Removal of Rotten Fascia Boards • Carefully dismantle and remove the damaged fascia boards. • Dispose of all rotten wood in accordance with local waste regulations. 4. Installation of New Fascia Boards • Cut and fit the supplied timber fascia boards to match the existing structure. • Secure the boards using durable fixings, ensuring alignment and stability. • Seal all joints with waterproof silicone to prevent future water ingress. 5. Finishing • Apply one coat of primer and two coats of external-grade paint for durability and weather resistance. • Inspect and clean the area after installation, leaving the site tidy. 6. Final Inspection • Conduct a walkthrough with the client to ensure satisfaction with the replacement work. • Provide maintenance advice for newly installed fascia boards. Exclusions • Repairs to non-fascia elements unless explicitly stated. • Guttering or roofing repairs not related to fascia boards. Completion Timeframe: 1 day, weather permitting. I am looking for a carpenter to build timber frames to help us transform part of an old garage into a home office. The space is roughly square 2.5x2.5 metres and 2.3m high. At the moment the garage has a large opening the needs to be closed and the existing walls and ceiling are uneven and not suitable to install plaster boards. I expect you to supply and install 5 treated pine frames to be added to the existing structure: 4 walls and 1 ceiling. The frames should be fit for purpose and ready for the next jobs: - plasterer boards on the inside - weather boards on the outside - installation of a a standard hinged door and jamb (2040 x 820) The left wall shown in the pictures already has a timber frame, but it is not suitable for plasterboard as the spacing of the studs in non standard. If you think you can repair that wall in place instead of adding another, that is ok too. In that case, you only need to supply 3 walls and a ceiling frame.

HANDYMAN REQUIRED. I am looking for a handyman to help solve a smell coming from behind a step. It would possibly involve going under the house and drilling through a section of wood to see what was behind. I think that could reveal the source of the odour.
