Need to install IKEA cabinets onto a wall in the laundry. Cabinets are already assembled. Wall attachment railing to suit these specific cabinets has been purchased but needs to be cut to size. We have this rather wide kitchen cabinet that sits above our kitchen sink. It seems to have been a DIY project done prior to our ownership and was designed to work on some sort of “hydraulic” arm system so that the long cabinet doors would open out and then up rather than opening landscape outwards into the kitchen. These doors have fallen off due to them being broken and the arms being “stuffed…”. I don’t think there is much chance of reviving them so we’d like to effectively put in some new doors. Note in the images below we do have the original doors albeit their frames have started to fall apart. If repairable we’d be open to that, as it could simplify the job. We’re open to suggestions about what would work functionally best and look the best. It doesn’t necessarily need to be the “hydraulic arms” again if you have a better suggestion. We would like the solution to fit in with the aesthetic of the rest of the kitchen. “White and tidy”. The ideal taskee could both suggest and design something to fit and also build the doors and install. I’d be happy to lend a helping hold to hold things in place etc. Rough specs: 110cm wide per cupboard (~220wide for both) 47cm height PLEASE NOTE: **I know this isn’t a $99 job. That’s just a placeholder, as I’m not sure how to put a price on this when we don’t yet know what design or effort we’re looking for. I have a large wooden painting on 0.5cm plywood that needs to be cut down into 6/9 sections. Preferably done by jigsaw or table saw.
